Location:
The property is located 10 miles south of Lewistown
along Casino Creek in the foothills of the Big Snowy
Mountains. Access is by two miles paved road and the
rest county gravel. This is a high moisture area (for
Montana) so the property stays green for most of the
summer. The Central Montana area is highly regarded

Lewistown Area:

to Billings, provided by Gulf Stream Airlines, effective
May 2011. Lewistown's airport has a paved 6100 foot

Ranch Size:
This ranch contains 1,479 + deeded acres. In
the past about 400 acres were tilled and used for
hay production. If these lands were reseeded to an
alfalfa mix they would be very productive hayland.
Presently, the owners have these tillable lands in
a mixed forage and it is used for summer and fall
grazing as is the whole property. Owner has been pasturing
cattle from June until October. If hay production
were a concern the common yields in this area range
from 1.5 to 2.5 tons per acre depending on the weather
and the varieties of forage raised. The balance of
the ranch is native range, brushy meadows, aspens,
and scattered timber.
Water and Taxes:
Sources of water on this ranch are three quarters
of a mile of Casino Creek, developed springs, a reservoir,
and about two miles of unnamed seasonal creeks that

most scenic areas of Central Montana. More specifically,
it is in the foothills of the Big Snowy Mountains
